First American Health Institute-Kenya (FAHI-Kenya) has led healthcare training and staffing solutions since 2017. Initially operating under Huduma Bora Medical Centre-College, the institution rebranded to establish itself as an independent training center dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare education. The founder and program director, Gordon Asadhi, launched Huduma Bora Medical Centers in 2015, with healthcare facilities in Mwatate, Taita Taveta County, laying the foundation for FAHI-Kenya’s expansion into healthcare training and workforce development.

FAHI-Kenya offers comprehensive healthcare training programs aligned with both local and international standards. The flagship Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Healthcare Support Assistant (HSA) Level 4/5 program is a 30-week course with a nine-week clinical hospital attachment, providing students hands-on experience in real healthcare settings. FAHI-Kenya pioneered a specialized CNA pathway for Registered Clinical Officers (RCOs) and experienced Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), enabling them to transition into international healthcare roles. In addition to CNA training, the institute provides diverse courses, including Emergency Medical Services (EMT), Mortuary Sciences, Perioperative Theatre Technology, ASCPi Exam Preparation, Community Health, Foreign Languages, and ICT and Technical Skills Training.

Beyond training, FAHI-Kenya is a trusted provider of local and international healthcare staffing solutions. The institution is looking forward to starting to recruit and linking Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Medical Laboratory Scientists (MLS), Medical Doctors (MDs), Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), Truck Drivers, and Graduate Teachers with employers and agencies locally in Kenya and internationally in the USA, Canada, Ireland, Finland, Germany, Gulf countries, and the United Kingdom. In addition to education and staffing, FAHI-Kenya operates the FAHI Home-Based Care Agency, which provides professional, compassionate, and personalized care services across Kenya. The agency offers various services, including personal care assistance, medication management, post-hospitalization support, IV medication and infusion services, palliative care, wound care, and home delivery kits. These services are designed to support clients in their homes, ensuring they receive high-quality care tailored to their needs.

FAHI-Kenya remains committed to excellence in healthcare training, staffing, and caregiving, equipping professionals with the skills and opportunities needed to thrive locally and internationally in the healthcare industry.
