ASCPi Credential Exams Preparation Course (ASCPi-MLS)

The ASCPi-MLS certification is a prestigious credential for medical laboratory professionals aiming to work in the U.S. or other countries recognizing ASCP certification. The rigorous exam requires a firm grasp of theoretical and procedural knowledge. The preparation course, led by an experienced ASCPi-certified trainer, offers a structured two-month program for KSH 35,000 (Excluding the ASCPI certification exam fee, CGFNS, KMLTTB fee & other verification fees) to help you succeed.

The ASCPi-MLS exam is a computer-adaptive test (CAT) with 100 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 2.5 hours. Questions are divided into theoretical (applying knowledge, calculations, correlating results to diseases) and procedural (lab techniques, quality assurance, troubleshooting). The exam covers seven content areas:

1. Blood Banking (17%-22%): Focus on blood products, group systems, immunology, transfusion practices, and serologic testing.
2. Urinalysis and Body Fluids (5%-10%): Study physical, chemical, and microscopic analysis of urine and body fluids.
3. Chemistry (17%-22%): Cover carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, enzymes, electrolytes, acid-base balance, and toxicology.
4. Hematology (17%-22%): Learn blood cell morphology, hematologic disorders, and hemostasis.
5. Immunology (5%-10%): Understand immune system principles, autoimmune diseases, and serologic testing.
6. Microbiology (17%-22%): Master bacteriology, virology, parasitology, mycology, and antimicrobial testing.
7. Laboratory Operations (5%-10%): Focus on quality control, safety, lab math, and instrumentation.
