
Diploma in Nursing (RN) / Diploma in Community Health Nursing (KRCHN) — KNQF Level 6 is a comprehensive 3-year program that prepares you to become a Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse (KRCHN). It encompasses professional training across General Nursing, Midwifery, Psychiatry/Mental Health Nursing, and Community Health, preparing you to deliver preventive, promotive, curative, and rehabilitative care in both acute and long-term acute care, nursing home, and community settings. This program is built to the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) standards and it provides a recognized pathway to licensing and employment in Kenya and beyond.

Entry Requirements
Minimum Grade: KCSE C Plain and above
Mandatory Subjects:C Plain in English or Kiswahili , C Plain in Biology/Biological Sciences, C- (Minus) in Chemistry, Mathematics, or Physics
Employment Areas
Graduates can work across public, private, faith-based, and NGO healthcare settings in Kenya, including county/sub-county hospitals, health centres and dispensaries, maternity/MCH clinics, outpatient and emergency units, HIV/TB/malaria and community health programs, school and occupational health services, home-based and palliative care, and other outreach or underserved settings.
Optional International Pathway & Relocation Support For interested graduates
FAHI provides structured international guidance (not immigration services) for up to 12 months after NCK completion. Support may include language preparation orientation, nursing board exam preparation guidance, credential verification support, documentation guidance, interview coaching, and introductions to vetted recruiters/employers where available.
