Certificate in Geriatric and Disability Care—This course provides comprehensive training on caring for individuals with disabilities, young children, and older people. Participants will gain skills in daily care, mobility assistance, and emotional support. The training is open to all and is certified by FAHI/Mometrix. The course fee is KSH 27,000, plus a registration fee of KSH 2,000. Course duration is 6 weeks.
Certificate in Palliative and Hospice Care —This program is ideal for individuals interested in providing specialized care to patients with chronic or terminal illnesses and those with unique medical needs. Trainees will learn about pain management, emotional support, and home-based care services. The course is certified by FAHI/Mometrix and costs KES 27,000, with a registration fee of KES 2,000. Course duration is 6 weeks.
Professional Nanny and Childcare Course – This course is designed for those passionate about early childhood care and development. Participants will learn how to provide safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate care for young children. This program requires a KCPE certificate and is certified by FAHI. The total fee is KSH 10,000, plus a registration fee of KES 2,000. Course duration is 2 weeks.
Certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) – equips learners with practical skills to support children and adults living with ASD in home, school, and community settings. The training focuses on communication support, behavior management, daily living assistance, and inclusive care. The course runs for 6 weeks, costs KES 27,000, and is offered by FAHI. Registration fee of KES 2,000.
In Kenya, you can work in special schools and inclusive learning centers; home-based care and private caregiving; therapy and rehabilitation centers (in support roles); hospitals and pediatric clinics; NGOs and community-based disability programs; and early childhood development (ECD) centers.
